Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Deputyship at Hadhramout University announced the commencement of registration in postgraduate programs in Petroleum Engineering for the first semester in the academic year 2023-2024 on Monday, 26/06/2023  to Thursday 13/07/2023 for the following programs:

Faculty Academic Degree Department Specialization
Engineering &Petroleum M.A. Petroleum Engineering Petroleum Engineering Science

Registration Procedures of the first semester for the academic year 2023-2024:

Admission Requirements

  1. Master applicant must have bachelor degree with at least good grade and the degrees must be from accredited university.
  2. The applicant must complete and submit the application.
  3. It is not allowed to register in two programs at the same time.
  4. The Applicant should not dismissed from another university for disciplinary reasons
  5. The applicant should pay for the registration fees which is 8500 Yemeni rials.
  6. The applicant must attach the approval letter for studying from the employer to the application form.
  7. The graduation documents should be approved from the Ministry of Higher Education
  8. The applicant must have studied on a regular admission system.

Registration Fees

Every applicant is required to pay Five thousand and five hundred (5500)RY for registration, and three thousands (3000)RY for admission exam and interview in Alomqy Exchange on the account of the Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Deputyship 254030399

Documents Required for the Registration Process:

The applicant should submit a file with all these required documents as following:

  • A true copy of the secondary education certificate or its equivalence.
  • A true copy of the bachelor degree and the academic record of the applicant for master’s degree.
  • A copy of identity card or valid passport.
  • A certified copy of the residence permit for non-Yemeni applicant.
  • Personal photo.
  • The receipt of the registration fees.

Registration Process:

The applicant can apply electronically by using this link

so in this case ,the applicant is required to submit all the above mentioned documents before the examinations  to the coordination committee of the registration and admission at Postgraduate Studies Deputyship.

Otherwise, the applicant can apply by attending in Central Hall at University Presidency- Fuwa/inshaat or in the coordination center in Socotra.

Important Notes:

  • The coordination procedures stars on Monday 26/06/2023
  • The deadline is on Thursday 13/07/2023
  • Check on the information provided in the coordination card  before the submission.
  • Coordination procedures are not completed unless the coordination card is printed.
  • Documents must be approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

 Instructions and Guidance:

  • The student should attend the admission exams according to the scheduled  time on the coordination card.
  • The student can’t take the exam unless he brings his coordination card.
  • The student should attend 15 minutes before the exam and wear shirt and trousers.
  • It is not allowed to bring mobile phones or any relevant materials.
  • The coordination fees are not refundable because they are in exchange for coordination services provided by the university.
