Fourth-level students in the Environmental Sciences Department visited Hallah District on Thursday morning, November 16, 2023, under the supervision of Ms. Eman Hasan Ba-Othman. This visit aims to introduce the students to the extent of the coastal area pollution with tar balls. Some parameters were measured, including determining the geographic location and measuring temperature, wind direction, and speed, in addition to identifying some methods of collecting different samples.
These activities occurred within the plans and programs of the faculty and aim at providing the students with knowledge, expertise, and evaluation of pollution extent, which connects the practical side with the theoretical side.
