This morning, Prof. Dr. Khaled Awadh Al‑Rubaki, Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Marine Biology at Hadhramout University, received in his office Mr. Tom Thorgood, Chief Technical Advisor at the UNDP Office in Yemen, along with his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, both sides discussed aspects of cooperation in several fields, particularly those related to marine biology and ways to preserve and develop marine resources.
The delegation then conducted an exploratory visit to the faculty’s departments and laboratories, in addition to visiting the fish farming facility, which is currently in the final stages of completion.
The delegation was accompanied by Mr. Mohammed Al‑Hattari, Coordinator of the S‑Fish Program, and Mr. Jamal Al‑Houtali, the program’s representative in Hadhramout. From the faculty, the meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Aidhah, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Graduate Studies, Dr. Majed Bin Muslim, Vice Dean for Student Affairs, along with a number of faculty members.
