Prof. Dr. Khaled Awadh Al‑Rubaki, Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Marine Biology at Hadhramout University, received in his office this morning Prof. Dr. Mohammed Awadh Barashid, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, during an official visit aimed at strengthening academic and research cooperation between the two faculties and exploring prospects for partnership in various scientific fields.
During the meeting, both sides discussed areas of scientific collaboration and ways to expand joint work in the fields of environment, climate, and sustainable development, in addition to exploring the possibility of launching joint activities and training programs that would contribute to serving both the university community and the surrounding society.
The two parties also agreed to organize a joint scientific seminar on climate and environmental issues, bringing together a group of academics and researchers from both faculties. The seminar aims to present scientific solutions that contribute to raising environmental awareness and highlighting the climate challenges facing the region.
The deanships of both faculties affirmed their commitment to continued coordination and future cooperation in a manner that enhances the quality of the educational process and provides students with broader opportunities to participate in scientific and research activities.
This visit comes within the framework of Hadhramout University’s efforts to strengthen academic partnerships among its faculties and to encourage scientific initiatives that support research and sustainable development.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Salem Basarih, Dr. Ahmed Aidhah Bin Ali Al‑Haj, and Mr. Yasser Bafarej.
