Faculty Media – Al‑Mukalla
Prof. Dr. Khaled Awadh Al‑Rubaki, Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Marine Biology at Hadhramout University, received on the morning of Thursday, 16 April 2026, a group of Pharmacy students from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Science and Technology in Al‑Mukalla, accompanied by Dr. Marwa Al‑Amoudi and Ms. Sarah Bashtah, during an exploratory visit to the faculty.
At the beginning of the visit, the delegation was welcomed and provided with a brief overview of the faculty, its academic departments, and its educational outputs, highlighting its role in serving the community.
The visit included a tour of the faculty’s scientific laboratories, including the Marine Pollution Laboratory, Food Technology Laboratory, Microbiology Laboratory, Marine Biology Laboratory, and Analytical Laboratory, where students were introduced to the equipment used and the objectives of each laboratory.
The delegation also visited the aquaculture research farm at the faculty to learn about its activities and research functions.
At the conclusion of the visit, the students presented a certificate of appreciation to the Faculty Deanship in recognition of the warm reception and hospitality.
The visit was attended by Dr. Ahmed Ali Balqadi, a faculty member, and Mr. Nabil Al‑Hudhaifi, Director of the Faculty Laboratories.
