Performing ‘umrah Course was launched for university staff at Ali A. Bakathir Hall headed by Prof. Mohammed Saeed Khanbash and he indicated that this is considered an annual habit that will be supported by the university presidency in order to perform the rites of Umrah and Hajj for all university employees.
the University would strive with all philanthropists to support such charitable campaigns for University associates, noting that the University would adopt a sum for all those going to the old people to facilitate their travel. He said that this was the first batch for service staff. He expressed his thankfulness to all the contributors to this charity and Shikh. For his part, Prof. Marwan Ahmed Al-Habashi, chairman of the Governing Body of the University Staff Union, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Presidency of the University for their supporting the delegation of the first batch of University service staff to the Holy Land to the performance of Umrah.
Mr. Nabil Ahmed Batis,religious guide for Hajj and Umrah, presented the applied course on the performing Umrah, during which he reviewed religious guidelines, advice and duties to familiarize employees with the prohibitions and invalidities, purity, duties and provisions necessary to perform the rituals of Umrah.
