The Faculty of Open Education at Hadhramout University has recently launched a PhD Program in the Department of Management, marking a significant milestone in the Faculty’s advancement in graduate studies and scientific research. The program opens new opportunities for researchers, academics, and professionals. It reflects the Faculty’s commitment to expanding postgraduate offerings, promoting scientific research, and addressing the needs of society and the labor market for highly qualified specialists.
In a related development, the Faculty conducted personal interviews on Tuesday for applicants to its Master’s and PhD programs in graduate studies and scientific research. The interviews were held at the late Dr. Mohammed Salem Bin Jamaan Hall at the Faculty.
At the opening of the interview process, Prof. Atef Saleh Al-Tamimi, Dean of the Faculty of Open Education, welcomed the applicants and emphasized that the launch of the PhD Program in the Department of Management represents an important step in the Faculty’s ongoing academic development.
For his part, Prof. Khaled Mohammed Al-Jabri, Head of the Department of Management, welcomed the applicants and praised their interest in pursuing postgraduate studies. He highlighted the importance of the PhD Program in Management in preparing researchers and specialists who can contribute to the development of management practices, advance scientific research, and serve the community.
The interviews were conducted under the supervision of an academic committee chaired by Prof. Khaled Mohammed Al-Jabri, with membership of Prof. Hani Salmeen Balafeer and Prof. Khaled Mohammed Al-Kaldi. The committee carried out its responsibilities in accordance with approved academic standards to assess applicants’ capabilities, research interests, and readiness to join the programs.
Earlier, the Faculty announced the opening of applications for its Master’s and PhD programs in a variety of disciplines, including Business Administration, Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, English Language, Geography, and Early Childhood Education.
This initiative aligns with the Faculty of Open Education’s vision of developing graduate studies and scientific research programs, strengthening its academic standing, and creating new educational pathways that meet the evolving needs of higher education, the labor market, and sustainable development.
