International exchange students from Hadhramout University arrived in Malaysia to study in the program with the Universiti Teknologi Petronas in Kuala Lumpur, on Friday evening, the ninth of September, 2022. They were received by the university representative, Dr. Samir Al Bouri and some members from Universiti Teknologi Petronas.
This step comes as a first initiative by Hadhramout University under the generous patronage of Prof. Muhammad Saeed Khanbash; President of the University through sending five of the first students in the fifth level of Engineering and Petroleum Faculty to study for a semester in the specializations of Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering.
It is worth mentioning that this program comes as one of the outcomes of the meeting between the presidents of the two universities recently and in implementation of the agreements between them. As Universiti Teknologi Petronas is one of the specialized universities in the field of engineering and ranks 361 globally in the QS World University Ranking.
Furthermore, HU President urged the students to make an effort and compete for the top ranks among their colleagues enrolled in the same program from Malaysia and a number of other countries around the world. On the other hand, the university leadership extended its sincere thanks to the contributors to the success of this program, represented by the Hadhramout Foundation for Human Development and the Benevolent Fund for Outstanding Students.
