Today: Hadhramout University Honors Winners of the Student Creativity Awards Competitions

Hadhramout University will hold the closing ceremony this morning, Thursday, to honor the winners of the Tenth Student Creativity Awards, as part of the activities of the Fifteenth University Student Week. A total of 113 male and female students competed for 36 awards, distributed across the first three places in 12 creative fields.

The Chair of the Awards Committee, Dr. Abdulbasit Al-Gharabi, stated that the award categories included Qur’an memorization, Prophetic Hadith memorization, short story writing, Arabic poetry, sculpture, painting, Arabic calligraphy, radio presentation, nasheed performance, short films, and theatrical scriptwriting.

Dr. Al-Gharabi noted that the ceremony is expected to be attended by University leadership, local authorities, members of the General Secretariat, faculty deans, senior administrators, and the honored students.

He further emphasized that these awards represent the culmination of an academic year marked by excellence and serve as recognition of students’ creativity and talent across scientific, artistic, and cultural fields.
