Under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Amin Naaman Al‑Qudsi, Hadhramout University actively participated in a dialogue session held on Thursday, 30 April 2026, in the interim capital Aden, for the approval of the reference framework for establishing the National Network of International Relations Offices in Yemeni universities participating in the YHELD Project.
This activity constitutes one of the key outputs of the Fourth Work Package (WP4) of the project, which focuses on developing international relations offices and aims to enhance internationalization, expand academic partnerships, and strengthen the global presence of Yemeni universities.
The session featured extensive discussions on the establishment of two complementary networks. The first is a national network dedicated to coordinating the efforts of international relations offices and strengthening institutional capacities across Yemeni universities. The second network aims to enhance Yemeni–European academic cooperation, with a particular focus on academic mobility programs, the development of joint scientific research initiatives, the adoption of digital transformation tools, and the expansion of access to Erasmus+ scholarship opportunities.
Hadhramout University was represented in the session by Dr. Lotfi Saeed Bin Dahman, Director of the Center for International Cooperation and University Ranking, alongside several directors of international relations offices from universities participating in the project.
