Hadhramout University participated today in a meeting of the YHELD Project, held via video conference, with the participation of eight Yemeni universities, alongside European partners involved in the project.
The meeting discussed the most prominent activities and achievements accomplished at both the institutional and national levels, with a focus on ways to strengthen academic cooperation and build local and international networks that contribute to breaking the isolation of Yemeni higher education institutions and promoting their integration into the global academic sphere.

Discussions also addressed the steps toward establishing an international network in cooperation with several European universities, in addition to reviewing the ongoing preparations for the project’s final conference, scheduled to be held in Cairo from 13 to 14 May 2026.

Hadhramout University was represented at the meeting by Dr. Lotfi Saeed Bin Dahman, Dr. Saeed Abdulqader Al‑Amoudi, and Dr. Suheer Ali Al‑Hadhrami, in their capacity as the university’s coordinators for the project.

The participation of Hadhramout University comes within the framework of its commitment to enhancing its academic presence and expanding its scientific partnerships at both regional and international levels, contributing to the development of educational and research processes.
