UNDP Development Office Consultant Visits the Faculty of Environmental Sciences

The Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Marine Biology at Hadhramout University, Prof. Dr. Khaled Al‑Rubaki, received this morning in his office Prof. Dr. Hisham Mohammed Naji, Consultant to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for the Marine Protected Areas Study and Monitoring Project.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Al‑Rubaki provided an overview of the faculty, its academic departments, laboratories, and advisory services, highlighting the diverse teaching staff across various disciplines capable of supporting and contributing to the interventions targeted by the Marine Protected Areas Project.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Hisham Naji emphasized the importance of the project and the necessity of involving universities, given their academic and scientific standing in conducting research and studies related to marine protected areas and environmental sustainability.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Nada Sheikh Moul Al‑Dweila, Head of the Department of Environmental Sciences and Technologies, and Mr. Mohammed Bashadi, Secretary‑General of the Faculty.
