Under the patronage of Hadhramout University President, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, and in cooperation with the Student Council, the Nursing Faculty at Hadhramout University organized a special celebration marking the twentieth anniversary of its establishment. The event witnessed remarkable attendance from students, faculty members, guests, and representatives of participating external entities, in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, creativity, and active engagement.
The celebration formed part of the faculty’s activities commemorating two decades of academic and professional achievement. It featured a variety of interactive sections that combined health awareness, medical simulation, heritage displays, and community outreach, reflecting the scientific capabilities and creative talents of the faculty’s students.

The event was officially inaugurated by the faculty leadership through a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a field tour of the participating sections. During the tour, the organizers praised the outstanding level of organization and the innovative ideas presented by students and participating institutions.

Students from different academic levels played a prominent role in the success of the event by presenting a wide range of interactive sections in a dynamic and competitive environment. Among the most notable student sections were “Medicine Through Time,” “Your Life for One Choice,” “Between Life and Seconds with Code Blue,” “Days of the Past,” “Taryaq,” “Sakhaa,” “Nurse Art Station,” and a dedicated children’s section. These activities attracted considerable attention for their successful integration of live medical simulations, health awareness campaigns, heritage themes, and artistic creativity, demonstrating students’ abilities in innovation, teamwork, and practical application.

The event was further enriched by the participation of several external entities through diverse community and awareness sections, including the Wadi Hadhramout Section, Youth-Friendly Clinics Section, Productive Families Section, Seiyun Community faculty Section, and the Wildlife Reserve Section. This diversity added a broader community dimension to the celebration and transformed the open day into a platform for showcasing health, social, and environmental initiatives.
The accompanying activities also included cultural, educational, and recreational competitions aimed at strengthening students’ communication and organizational skills, encouraging positive competition, and reinforcing the spirit of cooperation and belonging within the university community.
The event witnessed strong interaction and enthusiastic participation from attendees, creating a vibrant atmosphere that reflected the importance of extracurricular student activities in shaping university life and enhancing students’ personal and professional development.
