Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saeed Khanbash, President of Hadhramout University, a cultural awareness event was held on Sunday, 26 October 2025, in the Bawazeer Hall at the Faculty of Arts.
Brigadier Fahmi Mahrous, the former Director of the Counter-Narcotics Department in Hadhramout Governorate, delivered an educational lecture as part of the cultural lecture series organized by the General Administration of Student Activities under the Vice Presidency for Student Affairs at the University.
Students and faculty members from the college actively participated in the event.
Dr. Majid bin Muslim, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Student Affairs, contributed a brief intervention addressing the topic of the lecture, urging young people to engage in combating this growing issue and warning against complacency or involvement in it.
