The Open Learning Faculty at Hadhramout University officially launched its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program this morning under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Atef Al-Tamimi.

During the launch event, which was attended by several students enrolled in the program, Prof. Khaled Al-Jabri, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research and Head of the Department of Business Administration, stated that the program is designed to deepen students’ managerial knowledge while enhancing their leadership, strategic planning, analytical, and decision-making skills.

He explained that the program aims to prepare highly qualified professionals capable of contributing to institutional development and effectively addressing contemporary managerial challenges. He also emphasized the importance of students’ adherence to academic regulations and standards, their commitment to academic excellence, and their dedication to conducting high-quality research and scholarly studies.

Prof. Al-Jabri further encouraged students to develop strong analytical and critical thinking skills, highlighting their importance in achieving the program’s objectives and enhancing the quality of its academic and research outcomes.

The launch of the MBA program reflects the College’s strategic commitment to expanding its graduate studies offerings, improving the quality of education and scientific research, and developing specialized competencies that meet labor market demands and support national and regional development priorities.
