Agreement between College of Arts & College of Education/Socatra
The office of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research witnessed an agreement signed between the College of Arts and the College of Education/ Socatra to implement Standardized Test of English Proficiency (STEP) program.
The program is targeted at all postgraduate students in the several master programs and majors in the University, as well as PhD students in the programs that will be established in the future. It aims to rehabilitate the academic staff, their assistants, the University staff, and all community members who wish to be in its training courses.
Dr. Hadi Salem Al-Sabban, University Rector's Deputy for Postgraduate Studies & Scientific Research, stressed that students' number enrolled in STEP program is more than 600 since its establishment in Mukalla, Seiyun, and Al Mahrah.
Dr. Saeed Amer Ahmed, Dean of the College of Education/ Socatra, praised the importance of this agreement, which will save students the cost and inconvenience of travel as they can study it in the College of Education/ Socatra. He thanked the office of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research and the deanship of the College of Arts for their great efforts.
