The Faculty of Administrative Sciences at Hadhramout University organized today, Thursday, a specialized training course on the “DotX Pro” Accounting System, targeting third- and fourth-level students. The initiative represents a step toward aligning academic outcomes with labor market requirements and enhancing graduates’ digital readiness.

The course was organized by the Faculty’s Training and Community Service Unit under the patronage of the Dean, Dr. Khaled Mohammed Al‑Kaldi, and in cooperation with Ibdaa Soft – Al‑Mukalla Office, represented by Eng. Mohammed Salem Bawazeer, according to an official statement.

The training program focused on providing students with practical skills through introducing them to account management procedures, purchasing and sales operations, inventory control, and the management of daily financial transactions in accordance with modern accounting standards. Practical demonstrations were delivered by the company’s certified trainer, Ms. Rahaf Ahmed Bin Hatrash Al‑Nahdi.

The faculty stated that this initiative comes within its strategy to support digital transformation and equip students with modern professional tools, particularly in light of the growing demand for qualified accounting competencies in both the public and private sectors.

The event concluded with the distribution of free educational copies of the software to all participants, who expressed their appreciation to both the faculty and the company for providing this hands-on training opportunity. Participants also voiced their hope that similar courses would be offered to students at other academic levels in the future.
