Yesterday, Wednesday, the Language Institute at Hadhramout University launched a Basic Chinese Language Course as part of the university’s preparations to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Yemeni–Chinese relations, which were officially established on 24 September 1956.

The course aims to provide participants with the fundamentals of the Chinese language and introduce them to Chinese culture and civilization, thereby strengthening communication and cultural exchange between the Yemeni and Chinese peoples.

The course is being offered alongside the university’s ongoing preparations to celebrate this historic occasion from 24 to 26 September, through a diverse program of scientific, cultural, and artistic activities highlighting the depth of Yemeni–Chinese relations, their historical milestones, and the various areas of cooperation between the two countries.
