A scientific symposium was held in the Graduate Studies Hall at the college of Arts, entitled (Hussain Al-Bar from 1965 – 2019, a memory that is renewed as a poet and journalist), organized by the Alumni Foundation in cooperation and coordination with the college of Arts at Hadhramout University. The college sponsors it to reveal the secrets and historical media of Hadhramout in all fields in order to familiarize students with the past and history of Hadhramout in the humanitarian and literary fields, noting that the Deanship of the College is ready to host such events, He said that the college has prepared a new modern hall for these events and graduate studies programs, thanking the Alumni Foundation for choosing the College of Arts to hold this literary event for the poet and journalist Hussein Muhammad Al-Bar, who is considered a scholar of Hadhramout media. After that, Dr. Taha Hussain Al-Hadhrami reviewed a working paper entitled “Manifestations of Narrative Formation in the Poetry of Hussain Muhammad Al-Bar”, and Professor Yasser Ali Radhi reviewed a working paper entitled Hussain Muhammad Al-Bar, the pioneer who does not lie to his family, in which he discussed the biography of the poet and journalist Hussain Muhammad Al-Bar, and Dr. Maher Bin Dahri presented A working paper entitled “Women in the Poetry of the Righteous” won the admiration of the attendees, including college members, researchers, interested people, writers and students of Hadhramout University.At the end of the symposium, the Ministry of Culture in the coast of Hadhramout presented a number of copies of the book of the poet and journalist Hussein bin Muhammad Al-Bar, written by his son, Professor Abdullah bin Hussein bin Muhammad Al-Bar, in celebration of the occasion.

The symposium was attended by Prof Abdullah Hussein Al-Bar, son of the deceased poet and journalist Hussain Muhammad Al-Bar, Dr. Abbas Bafarj, Deputy Dean of the college of Arts for Academic Affairs, Dr. Khaled bin Makhashin,Deputy  Dean of the college of Arts for Student Affairs, Dr. Doaa Salem Bawazeer, Head of the Press and Media Department, and Professor Ahmed Zain Bahmid, Director General of the University’s Media Department, heads of scientific departments, college members and their assistants, students of the Arabic language, journalism and media departments at the college of Arts, Hadhramout University, and a number of researchers and interested persons.
