Hadhramout University Inaugurates the Higher Studies Hall at the Faculty of Arts in the Fuwa Colleges Complex in Mukalla

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saeed Khanbash, President of Hadhramout University, accompanied by Dr. Hadi Salem Al-Sabban, Vice President for postraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Muhammad Awadh Barshaid, Dean of the faculty, and Dr. Khalid bin Makhashin, Deputy Dean of the faculty of Art for Student Affairs and heads of scientific departments in the faculty, inaugurated the Higher Studies Hall yesterday. During the inauguration, the university president and his companions got acquainted with the modern equipment and furnishings that are included in the hall which contains about 104 chairs, a platform for discussions and examinations, a smart board, a display screen, and modern air conditioners. The Faculty of Art includes about 150 male and female students in the postgraduate master’s course in the various specializations; history.Geography, Arabic language, English language, Islamic studies, sociology.

The President of Hadhramout University, Prof. Muhammad Khanbash, praised the efforts made by the Dean of the Arts faculty, heads of scientific departments, and the staff members in helping and developing the educational process in the faculty and to arrange the good arrangement of this new hall for graduate students and scientific research students at the Arts faculty.

Dr. Muhammad Barshaid, Dean of the Faculty of Art, explained that the faculty aspires to expand postgraduate programs and establish a doctoral course in some specializations, pointing out that this hall for postgraduate studies was supported by the Deanship of the Faculty and the Presidency of the University.
