The Department of Journalism and Media held seminars of the graduation projects for the undergraduate students of the fourth level for the academic year 2021/2022 Yesterday, at Faculty of Arts, Hadhramout University. It was held in the presence of the discussion committee consisting of staff members in the department, Dr. Adeeb Ahmed Al-Shatry, Dr. Wajdi Abdul Rahman Bawazeer, Dr. Doa’a Salem Bawazeer, and two members of assistant staff members in the department, teacher Ahmed Zain Bahmaid, and teacher Moniya Abdullah Bakatheer. The head of the department, Dr. Ahmed Salmeen bin Mansour, said that, Such seminars enrich the students’ knowledge before they start writing their research. He praised the keenness shown by the members of the department, appreciating their efforts, urging this work to develop the department. Moreover, he noted in the same context the sponsorship and cooperation of the faculty Dean represented by Prof. Muhammad Awadh Barshaid and his deputies.
On his part, Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Adeeb Al-Shatry, said that holding seminars in the Journalism and Media Department is a precedent for the faculty of Arts, which comes within the plan to develop and raise quality standards in the academic system. Accordingly, the discussing team got acquainted with the safety standards and proficiency in writing scientific research. Students presented their different research titles, which have a variety of content in terms of trends and ways in the use of media and its development.
