Financing A Project to Rehabilitate and Prepare a Discussion Hall in Al-Ghalila Complex in Mukalla

The project financing agreement of rehabilitation and preparation for a discussion and symposium hall for postgraduate studies at science college in Al-Ghalila complex was signed between HU and Al-Awn, Silah foundations for development and the implementation of The Student Care Association. It was signed by Prof.  Salem Mubarak Al-Awbthani, Vice President for Student Affairs, Prof. Ali Hassan Bashmakh, Executive Director of the Silah Foundation for Development, Mr. Abdallah Bin Othman, Executive Director of Al-Awn Foundation for Development, and Eng. Waseem Rabihan, Executive Director of the student care association, in addition to the presence of Dr. Hadi Salem Al-Sabban, Acting Vice President for postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research.

HU Vice President for Student Affairs indicated that the university seeks to create complementary partnership relations with civil society foundations to improve the university’s outcomes, develop its educational and academic programs and infrastructure, as well as raise the classification and academic accreditation of the university. He called on all parties and institutions to support education and continue in providing all aspects of support and assistance to develop the educational process at Hadhramout University.

On his part,  Eng. Wasim Rabihan, said that the project of rehabilitating and preparing the discussion and symposium hall which will be used by postgraduate students will accommodate 30 students prepared with the latest modern equipment. It comes within the university’s academic accreditation program, pointing out that the association and the two foundations, Al-Awn and Silah for Development have actual partnership relations with the Hadhramout University to serve students in the university’s colleges.  The signing ceremony was attended by: Mr. Salem Bamsalam, Program manager at Silah Foundation for Development, and Mr. Abdulmajeed Bajbair, Public Relations Director at The Student Care Association.
